Cantonese, as a dialect, and the symbolic imagery of Taoist talismans converge, further depicted on a map of Yuexiu District in Guangzhou. By exploring this new map, one can discover small sculptures hidden in various areas of the community, each corresponding to the characteristics of that area and a local dialect phrase. At the center of this exploration is a small pavilion, designed after local customs of drying clothes and architectural symbols reminiscent of clan structures.
